01 / ABOUT ECHELON PT

Dr. Derrick NGuyenton PT, DPT

Echelon PT was founded in 2019 on the idea that a fitter shouldn't just understand the bike—they should also understand your anatomy and what makes your biomechanics unique.

02 / HISTory

I started riding bikes during my undergrad at SDSU in 2017. My graduation present to myself was a Trek Madone 2.1. I told myself if I was willing to spend that kind of money on a bicycle as a college student, then I better ride it. And I haven't gotten off the bike since then.

I learned to fit myself through studying countless online resources, and then friends and family began asking for fits. Their story was the same. They had gone to a shop for a fit, and the technician would fit them to a few numbers based on trends, but weren't able to figure out the cause of their pains or able to adapt to anatomical differences.

From there, the idea of Echelon PT was born. The next 3 years of PT school at UNLV, subsequent continuing education, and shadowing experts in the field, would be focused on creating

a bike fit that fits people, not bikes.

03 / PRINCIPLES

core principles

minimizing injury

Do No Harm.

The foundation of every fit. Understanding the source of cycling pains allows for proper management.

stability

A bike fit is a tool. Positioning and pedaling dynamics are crucial to maintaining optimal biomechanics.

goals

Bike fits aren't just for racers. Fits are catered to individual goals, from longevity to performance.

A BETTER RIDE IS BUILT IN THE DETAILS.
